"You're right in the middle of it all" at this "great place for a weekend getaway", located in the theater district with "easy access to Downtown"; the decor is "fun" and "modern", the "comfy" rooms have Aveda products and free WiFi (but beware the "paper-thin" walls and "aging bathrooms") and the "warm, friendly" staff "makes the extra effort", hosting complimentary wine receptions; you'll get a "very cool vibe" in the Encore bar, but the food at 312 Chicago doesn't garner much praise.

The size of the room was extremely small.

Great staff - attractive decor - I loved the room & bath.
The cost of parking was high.
I would refer this hotel to any of my friends staying in Chicago. We have a friend living in the Lake Shore Drive area and when a large crowd comes out to visit, we scurry for rooms. I found mine.

The building itself is fairly old but has been renovated, it has a chic trendy feel. the lobby has free wine and cider up to 6pm. staff is amazing.

Redone hotel in Art Deco but our room was very small. King bed took most of the room (but don't forget, I wanted a king).
